The final day to enjoy a Neuron e-scooter or e-bike ride in Vernon will be November 30. We would like to thank the City of Vernon, the Vernon Chamber of Commerce, and our riders for another great season!

Riders in Vernon have travelled 290,000 kilometres since Neuron kicked off the 2022 riding season in March. 40% of Neuron trips replaced a car journey, avoiding 29 tonnes of CO2 emissions to date. In order to meet demand, the original fleet of 250 e-scooters was increased to 350 while 50 e-bikes were also added in 2022. Neuron hosted 11 ScootSafe rider education sessions and gave away 500 helmets, helping keep riders safe over the course of the season.

The economic impact of Neuron e-scooters was evident in Vernon, too. Seven out of 10 trips resulted in a purchase at a local business which amounts to an estimated $4.5 million spent.
