Neuron launches safety-first e-scooters in St. Albert!

To celebrate the launch, new riders can redeem a Neuron Plus Pass for $2.99 to enjoy rides with unlimited waived unlock fees and 20% off each trip

We have been selected to launch in St. Albert and the first of our 100 safety-first e-scooters will be gradually rolled out from August 21 to cover key areas of the city. New riders can redeem a Neuron Plus Pass for $2.99 to enjoy 20% off each trip with no additional charge to unlock the vehicle.

Neuron partners with the Traffic Injury Research Foundation to promote e-scooter safety and research in Canada. Users can visit our online riding school, ScootSafe Academy, for their local riding rules and earn free credits for future rides. Our Safety Ambassadors will also be out in greater numbers during the launch period to equip new riders with the confidence to safely ride and park our vehicles.

Neuron’s selection by the City of St. Albert follows a strong track record of partnering with cities, and our leadership and commitment to safety and innovation. With the launch in St. Albert, Neuron now operates in 18 Canadian towns and cities – with eight in Alberta – including their recent arrival in Edmonton

Riders will also benefit from a range of pioneering safety innovations including: world’s first integrated helmets (it is legal requirement to wear a helmet); voice guidance; topple detection; a 911 emergency button, and a ‘Follow my Ride’ function for added peace of mind. Advanced geofencing technology will also control where e-scooters are ridden and parked, and how fast they can travel in certain areas.

To ride a Neuron, simply unlock and use the e-scooters through our user-friendly app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play and set up in a matter of minutes.
