We’re excited to announce that our safety-first e-scooters will be hitting the streets of Unley from Monday, 14 February. Neuron’s e-scooter riding area will expand to include Adelaide’s inner-southern suburbs including; Everard Park, Black Forest, Goodwood, Hyde Park, Kings Park, Unley Park, Highgate, Fullarton, Wayville and Parkside.
The expansion into Unley is set to be welcomed by the city, with our e-scooters taking riders further, and more extensively, between the CBD and surrounding areas. Locals will be able to experience our latest and safest N3 e-scooters, which have already been a proven success in Adelaide CBD, Charles Sturt, West Torrens and Port Adelaide Enfield.
The fleet will launch with a range of world-first safety features and pioneering innovations as seen in other South Australian cities, including an app-controlled Helmet Lock that releases at the start of your ride and voice guidance to educate and inform riders. Riders will also benefit from a Follow My Ride feature; a 000 emergency button; topple detection and Geofencing technology to control the local riding area, parking locations and top speed.
Riders will be able to book and use the e-scooters through Neuron’s user-friendly app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play and set up in a matter of minutes. Single trips will cost AU$1 to unlock the e-scooter and 45 cents per minute thereafter. More frequent users have the option to purchase Neuron Passes.
