It is the Spring season and that can only mean one thing – Cherry Blossom! Over the past few weeks, you would have seen your social media feed flooded with pictures of the Sakura flowers bloom or you might have even visited Japan or Korea yourself.

But for those who haven’t had the opportunity, fret not! For our Singaporean users, you can indulge in the Sakura season, right from the comfort of your own home.

Where to see Cherry Blossom in Singapore?

According to Nparks, these cherry blossom look-alike blooms are induced by the recent dry and rainy spells. These tropical sakura have been spotted all over Singapore, including Punggol, Bedok, Buona Vista and even along the shopping district of Orchard Road.

One of such examples would be the Bougainvillea, which is a common sight along the bridges and roads in Singapore.

1. Marina Bay Sands

Thanks to the parallel rows of palm trees along the MBS waterfront edge, this photo spot bears an uncanny resemblance to the famous Philosopher’s Path in Kyoto.

2. Marina Boulevard

For about Nami Island, Marina Boulevard is the place to go. Get a spot along the stretch of canopy for that picture-perfect pose.
